The Arkansas City Police Department arrested an Arkansas City High School teacher Oct. 13 after a report of an unlawful relationship with a juvenile ACHS student.
Ethan Dane Huff, 27, was arrested on suspicion of unlawful sexual relations. He was transported to and booked into the Cowley County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond through Cowley County District Court in Arkansas City. Huff remained in custody at the time of this release.
Officers were notified Oct. 13 of a report of an inappropriate sexual relationship between Huff and a 17-year-old female at the high school, which is located at 1200 W. Radio Lane.
After investigation, police established probable cause, resulting in Huff’s arrest later that day.
A defendant’s guilt or innocence is to be determined by a court of law.
