Alderbrook Village Assisted Living will have a ribbon-cutting and open house this week to highlight its newly renovated retirement community.
“As we all know, updates are an important, ongoing process, as well as much desired in the business world,” said Stephen Mitchell, executive director at Alderbrook Village. “We would like to share this excitement with the community of Arkansas City as we continue to make progress.”
The Arkansas City Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony today to celebrate the newly remodeled community.
This event will commence at 2 p.m. at Alderbrook Village, which is located at 402 E. Windsor Road.
“We want to introduce to our community a place where families can come together and still share the life of grandparents and mom or dad,” Mitchell said. “We aren’t a facility, but a home for families.”
Alderbrook Village’s open house will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. March 15.
“We would like to invite you to partake in a variety of refreshments prepared by our chef as you enjoy live entertainment for the evening,” Mitchell said. “We also encourage you to join us as our courteous staff escorts you through our beautiful, decorous community.”
