Ark City Clinic has entered into a joint agreement with Oklahoma-based AllianceHealth Medical Group, according to an Aug. 21 news release.
The agreement is one of collaboration, under which AllianceHealth will operate the clinic and “continue to bolster and support the clinic’s further success.”
AllianceHealth Oklahoma currently manages eight hospitals in the state, including those in both Blackwell and Ponca City.
“We’re excited to collaborate with the Ark City Clinic and look forward to further serving the Ark City community,” said Chris Mendoza, chief executive officer of AllianceHealth Ponca City.
“Serving the Ark City community and furthering the service line capabilities that are offered in that area are exciting.”
“The Ark City Clinic has entered into a joint venture with AllianceHealth Ponca City in order to improve access to health care and to bring more providers to this community,” said Dr. Paul Klaassen, president of Ark City Clinic and chief of staff at South Central Kansas Medical Center.
“Ark City Clinic will continue to operate with the same friendly employees, offering you the same excellent medical care,” he said.
AllianceHealth Ponca City and Ark City Clinic plan to begin their new agreement formally in September.
