Cowley County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to the Cowley County Courthouse to contact a county resident for a previously reported theft. Deputies were dispatched to the 24000 block of U.S. 77 to check on a female pedestrian in the area. Deputies gave a pedestrian a ride to Mulvane. Deputies were dispatched to the 28000 block of 121st Road for a theft report regarding a Kansas license plate. Deputies were dispatched to the 6000 block of 322nd Road to check a person sleeping behind the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Dylan Michael Feimeier, 19, of Wichita, was arrested on a Greene County Missouri District Court warrant for failure to appear. He was transported to and booked into the Cowley County Jail on that warrant. Feimeier remained in custody at the time of this release. Deputies were dispatched to the 21000 block of 85th Road for a civil issue regarding an ongoing landlord and tenant issue. Deputies were dispatched to the 7000 block of 242nd Road to check a female pedestrian in the area. Deputies were dispatched to the 16000 block of 23rd Road for a traffic complaint. Cowley County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to the 1000 block of U.S. 160 for a report of a one-vehicle, non-injury accident regarding a vehicle that had swerved to miss a deer and struck a utility pole. Deputies checked a vehicle and occupants in the 500 block of Maris Street. Deputies checked a vehicle in the area of 241st Road and 292nd Road. The driver was found sleeping in the back seat. Deputies were dispatched to the 8000 block of 326th Road for a report of two people standing between the caller’s residence and a neighbor. The caller then called back and said they had left, and there was nothing missing or out of the ordinary and asked that the deputies disregarded the call. Cowley County Sheriff Deputies transported a prisoner, Matthew James Comstock, 40, of Winfield, from the Cowley County Jail to the El Dorado Correctional Facility to serve his sentence on a Cowley County District Court case. Deputies were dispatched to the 30000 block of U.S. 166 for a report of cattle on the roadway. Deputies transported a person from the William Newton Memorial Hospital to the Larned State Hospital. Deputies transported a prisoner for the Arkansas City Police Department to the Cowley County Jail. Deputies were dispatched to the 20000 block of 71st Road for a complaint of an aerial spraying unit spraying fields and getting chemical on the caller’s vehicle. Deputies were dispatched to the 9000 block of 192nd Road for a report of a stray pit bull in the area. Deputies were dispatched to the 30000 block of U.S. 166 for a report of cattle on the roadway. Deputies were dispatched to the 7000 block of Warehouse Avenue for a report of a stolen debit card while the caller was at work. Cowley County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to the 8000 block of 326th Road for report of a disturbance. Jeffrey Gene Yatsko, 59, of Arkansas City, was arrested for aggravated battery and aggravated assault. He was transported to and booked into the Cowley County Jail on those charges. Yatsko remained in custody at the time of this report. Deputies removed debris from the roadway in the 1300 block of South Summit Street. Deputies checked a pedestrian in the area of K-360 and U.S. 77. Deputies transported a prisoner for the Arkansas City Police Department to the Cowley County Jail. Deputies were dispatched to contact a person regarding a four wheeler accident that had occurred and been reported last week. Deputies were dispatched to assist with a structure fire in the 23000 block of 31st Road. Deputies were dispatched to the 9000 block of U.S. 77 for a report of a one-vehicle, non-injury, car-turkey accident. Deputies were dispatched to the 2800 block of East Birch for a report of horses out in the roadway. Deputies assisted a motorist in the area of the U.S. 166 and the U.S. 77 bypass. Cowley County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to the 18000 block of 192nd Road for a report of an open 911 call where arguing could be heard in the background. It was found to be a verbal argument between a parent and son. Deputies went to the 200 block of East 11th Street for an offender verification check. The person in question was found not to live there. Deputies were dispatched to the 33000 block of 61st Road for a report of a possible scam message on Facebook. Deputies were dispatched to the 400 block of Centennial Road for a report of a dog that had scratched the caller’s juvenile son. Deputies transported a prisoner for the Arkansas City Police Department to the Cowley County Jail. Deputies went to the Reno County Jail to pick up a prisoner, Wayne Matthew Capps, 37, of Chatsworth, Ga., on a Cowley County District Court warrant for probation violation. He was transported to and booked into the Cowley County Jail on that warrant. Capps remained in custody at the time of this report. Deputies were dispatched to the 7000 block of 252nd Road for a report of a neighbor’s dog that killed two chickens belonging to the caller.
