Casablanca The V.J. Wilkins Family Center for the Arts at the Burford Theatre will be host to a “date night” next week to raise funds for the restoration of the historic theater’s balcony.

This themed event, which will take place Nov. 5, will include a viewing of “Casablanca,” plus options for a Moroccan dinner and dessert.

Tickets must be pre-ordered by Thursday and can be purchased for $50 — which includes a meal — or $25, which includes dessert only.

Stop by the Burford Theatre box office at 112 S. Summit St. in Arkansas City or the Arkansas City Public Library to purchase tickets.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the show starts at 6 p.m. The movie’s runtime is one hour, 42 minutes.
