The Cowley County Facilities Management group will meet from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 24 in Winfield for a luncheon sponsored by Cowley First and Columbia Elevators.
Cowley County Emergency Management Director Brian Stone is the guest presenter, covering “Could You Survive a Disaster? Business Continuity Planning.”
Area employers are invited to send their facility managers to this free presentation and luncheon for the opportunity to network with others employed in the same field of work.
The luncheon is an effort by Cowley First, the Cowley County Economic Development Partnership, and Mahaney Roofing to grow a facility managers network in Cowley County, in order to provide support to local facilities mangers and planners, as well as maintenance technicians.
The Cowley County Facilities Management network gathers over lunch on a quarterly basis and invites speakers to present a topic that aligns with on one of the 11 core competencies of facilities management.
An RSVP is required by noon Jan. 22 to attend and should be made to Deb Firebaugh at Cowley First by calling (620) 442-3094 or (620) 221-9951, or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
