Free summer meals continue to be offered to children on weekdays through June 30, according to USD 470 spokeswoman Alisha Call.

The program aims to provide children with healthy meals during the summer. Signing up is not necessary.

Breakfast and lunch are served free of charge to children between the ages of 1 and 18.

The meals are part of the Summer Food Service Program sponsored by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

USD 470 was able to expand the program for due in part to a grant awarded by Share Our Strength/No Kids Hungry, an organization dedicated to ending child hunger in America.

Arkansas City High School

  • Breakfast 7 to 8:30 a.m.
  • Lunch 11 to 11:30 a.m.

Arkansas City Middle School

  • Breakfast 7:30 to 8 a.m.
  • Lunch 11 to 11:30 a.m.

Roosevelt Elementary School

  • Breakfast 7:30 to 8 a.m.
  • Lunch 11 to 11:30 a.m.

IXL Elementary School, Lincoln PALS and Calvary Chapel

  • Breakfast 7 to 8 a.m.
  • Lunch 11 a.m. to noon

City Ball Park, Winton Park (Sleeth bus stop), MeadowWalk Apartments

  • Breakfast 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.
  • Lunch 11 to noon
