Tickets are on sale now for the banquet and can be purchased at Reedy Ford, located at 3319 N. Summit St., or online at www.friendsofnra.org.
Tickets purchased before the banquet are $30 per individual or $45 per couple. Children younger than 17 are $10. At the door, prices will go up.
There also are opportunities to “purchase” an entire table, which includes eight tickets, prime seating and a chance to win a firearm.
Three other raffles will take place at the banquet, which will be held at the Agri-Business Building, located at 712 W. Washington Ave.
Proceeds from the event will be used to host various programs throughout the year.
Friends, firearms safety, and proper form are very near and dear to the organization, according to event organizers.
“When you come to the banquet and spend some of your hard-earned money, you are not only having a great time, but you are helping to sponsor the Youth Hunter Education Challenge, where the next generation is taught not only how to enjoy shooting sports, but to enjoy it safely and responsibly,” states the group’s Facebook page.
