WINFIELD — The 2018 Cowley County Health and Safety Fair is from 9 a.m. to noon April 14 at Winfield High School, located at 300 Viking Blvd.

This event is free and open to the public, and it is kid friendly.

The Health and Safety Fair helps community members to connect with local health and safety resources.

Those resources range from health care professionals to insurance companies, as well as local police and EMS personnel.

“This event provides educational sessions, exhibits, vendors and door prizes,” states a release from the City-Cowley County Health Department.

“A special feature of the day will be the ability to tour fire trucks (and) police cruisers, as well as other safety equipment.”
