Cowley College had a large number of individuals donate blood during the annual American Red Cross blood drive on Jan. 25 in the Earle N. Wright Community Room.
This represented the most donors (52) and units of usable blood (43) collected since October 2014, according to Cowley College Health Services Coordinator Lea Newman.
“We had a really great turnout for this blood drive,” Newman said. “On behalf of myself and the Red Cross, thank you.
“Blood donation is not always a fun thing to do, but your sacrifice was greatly needed and appreciated.”
