Cowley County Sheriff’s Office

  • Deputies transported a prisoner, Michael Darnell Seahorn, 39, of Winfield, from the Cowley County Jail to the Sedgwick County Jail. A deputy then picked up a prisoner, Terrica La Nette Wells, 32, of Wichita, on a Cowley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. She was transported to and booked into the Cowley County Jail on that warrant.
  • Deputies were dispatched to the 16000 block of 136th Road for a report of cattle on the roadway.
  • Deputies were contacted about a vehicle tag that had not been returned from the sale of a vehicle. The Kansas license plate was recovered.
  • Deputies took a report at the Cowley County Courthouse regarding a Kansas license plate lost or stolen in the county.
  • Deputies assisted a motorist in the 4000 block of U.S. 160. The vehicle already had been tagged for towing by the Kansas Highway Patrol.
  • Deputies were dispatched to the 5000 block of 262nd Road for a welfare check. The person in question was contacted, but did not require any assistance.
  • Deputies assisted a motorist in the 16000 block of 112th Road. The vehicle was off the roadway, with no one in or around it. The vehicle had a flat tire.
  • Deputies were dispatched to assist with a medical pendant alarm in the 400 block of Williams Street in Rock.
  • Deputies were dispatched to call a person in Dexter about a previous case the week before, relating to a disturbance.
  • Deputies assisted a motorist in the 12000 block of 181st Road.
  • Deputies were dispatched to the area of 231st Road and 72nd Road for a report of a vehicle fire.
  • Deputies arrested Colton Lawrence Oneal, 24, of Arkansas City, at the Cowley County Courthouse on a Cowley County District Court arrest-and-detain order for probation violation. He was booked into the Cowley County Jail on that order.
  • Deputies were dispatched to the 2000 block of U.S. 77 for a report of suspicious activity regarding a vehicle parked in that area with two occupants. The occupants were contacted. They had stopped to take a nap.
  • Deputies were dispatched to the 16000 block of 232nd Road for a report of cattle in the roadway.
  • Deputies stopped a vehicle on Quail Ridge Drive, near Quail Ridge Road, for a traffic violation. The driver, Ashley Dawn Lunceford, was arrested on a Cowley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. She was transported to and booked into the Cowley County Jail on that warrant.
  • Deputies were dispatched to First Council Casino in Oklahoma to give a handicapoed person a ride to another location.
  • Deputies arrested Clifford John David, 39, of Winfield, in the 2800 block of East 12th Avenue in Winfield on a Cowley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. He was transported to and booked into the Cowley County Jail on that warrant.
  • Deputies were requested to provide extra patrol in the Hovsepian Lane area. They contacted the people who were driving a go-cart and four-wheeler in the area.
  • Deputies went to the 1400 block of North B Street to serve an order of protection from abuse.
  • Deputies were dispatched to the 17000 block of U.S. 166 for a report of a one-vehicle, non-injury, car-deer accident.
  • Deputies arrested Megan Ashleigh Saenz, 33, of Winfield, in the 900 block of Elizabeth Street in Winfield on four Cowley County District Court warrants for probation violation. She was transported to and booked into the Cowley County Jail on those four warrants.
  • Deputies were dispatched to the 2000 block of East 12th Avenue in Winfield for a welfare check. They were instructed to disregard prior to their arrival.
  • Deputies were dispatched to the 22000 block of U.S. 77 for a report of a one-vehicle, non-injury, car-deer accident.
  • Deputies transported a prisoner for the Arkansas City Police Department to the Cowley County Jail.
