WINFIELD — The Masonic Lodge of Winfield will have a cornerstone dedication for the Cowley County Sheriff’s Office on April 7 in Winfield.

The procession will start at 10 a.m. at the lodge, which is located at the corner of Eighth Avenue and Main Street.

From there, the procession will travel to the cornerstone location at 10th Avenue and Loomis Street.

More than 100 Masons expected to attend the public event, which is the first cornerstone dedication to be done in Kansas in several years.

The event is expected to last until noon.

Among the honored guests will be Sherriff Dave Falletti, former sheriffs Bob Odell and Don Read, Winfield Mayor Greg Thompson, and former county administrator Leroy Alsup.
