McDonald’s Sewing & Vacuum continues to offer sewing classes this fall after having a good turnout for the ones during the summer.

There are many classes from which to choose. Most include a class fee, but they range in skill level from beginner to advanced.

The beginner-level classes cover a multitude of items, including basics on how to use a sewing machine.

Some of the more advanced classes revolve around quilting.

“Everyone that buys a new machine gets new user classes,” said store owner Patrick McDonald.

Space is limited, so those interested are encouraged to sign up soon.

Next sewing class

Next week, the class will feature a book pillow or pin cushion. The class projects have optional machine or hand embroidery accents.

There is a $29 class fee, which includes some fabrics.

The class will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Nov. 9.

McDonald’s Sewing and Vacuum is located at 316 S. Summit St.
