Santa Claus will make several appearances next month in Arkansas City, starting with Merry Monday.

Santa will be on hand to light the Christmas decorations and pose for photos with children starting at 6:15 p.m.

Following Merry Monday, Santa can be found nearly somewhere in Ark City every weekend.

North Pole, Kansas

North Pole, Kansas, will open each weekend, starting the Friday after Thanksgiving.

Santa will be in attendance there from 2 to 5 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday.

Entrance into North Pole is free of charge, but donations can be made that go toward helping the less fortunate year-round.

Starting at 3 p.m. Nov. 24, North Pole opens for the season. Saturday hours will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday hours are from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Pictures can be taken with Santa, but no camera will be provided.

North Pole, Kansas, can be found at Scott’s Auto Body, located at 504 S. Summit St.

Santa at Traver’s

On Dec. 2, Santa will be at Traver’s Furniture in downtown Ark City.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be present from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This picture opportunity will be $25 per family.

The photography session fee will include three edited, high-resolution digital downloads.

Santa at Graves

Santa also will make an appearance at Graves Drug in Arkansas City.

This visit will be from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Dec. 9.

Santa, Mrs. Claus and one of their elves will make weekly appearances throughout December at 1027 N. Summit St.

The Clauses can be found there from 7 to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
