A special meeting of the South Central Kansas Medical Center Board of Trustees has been called for Sept. 12.
The copies of the contracts supplied by SCKMC staff include several details that still might be changed prior to the signing of the agreement.
Some of these details include the purchase of the building lease and equipment owned by WMA, as well as the name of the clinic itself.
The agreement also outlines possible future staffing arrangements.
WMA is a Rural Health Clinic and will maintain its designation as such after SCKMC changes its name, as the contract dictates.
The cost of the purchase, as outlined in the contract, will be $37,500, which is to be paid in 60 monthly installments of $625 each.
