There are many upcoming golf tournaments scheduled in Arkansas City.

In the next few months, a total of seven tournaments will take place at Spring Hill Golf Course.

Spring Hill features more than 3,000 yards of golf from the longest tees, for a par of 36. The course was opened in 1920.

The first tournament is the Fairway to Heaven Kevin Davis Memorial Tournament.

This is a four-person scramble that will take place starting at 9 a.m. Saturday.

The next tournament, “Mo Money,” is scheduled for 9 a.m. June 9.

This four-person scramble also will feature a drawing for a Snap-On Tools ice chest valued at $600.

The cost per ticket is $5 and the winner does not have to be present to win.

June 23 will see another four-person scramble tournament that starts at 9 a.m.

The Clyde Hatcher Memorial Tournament has been scheduled for 9 a.m. July 7. It is a three-person scramble.

A day/night glowball four-person scramble tournament will begin July 21.

It will be different from any other game played this summer, as it will take place from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. July 22.

The last tournament scheduled for this summer, so far, is “Remember the Fallen” — a four-person scramble.

This tournament will start at 9 a.m. Aug. 4.

Each person who wishes to play in any of these tournaments will have to pay an entry fee, which varies from $30 to $45.

Carts are available for all of the tournaments.

Spring Hill Golf Course is located at 3202 N. Summit St.
