Tim Durham and Mike Hallett will play from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 14 at Steamy Joe.
“If you have not heard, our music is an evolving cataclysmic wall of noise,” Durham said in a Facebook post. “Another way of putting it is that you will like it a lot if you don’t listen too carefully. I am tired of describing it, but I am not tired of playing it. Be there or live with pathological regret.”
Steamy Joe, located at 216 W. Central Ave., will have free adult coloring during the concert.
“Where else can you get political satire, mud wrestling, various unproven but free medical procedures and scavenger hunts? Actually, we will simply be playing our hearts out in artistic bliss while you drink yourself into a caffeinated buzz,” Durham also posted to his Facebook page.
“Please come see us. … It really hurts when you stay home and watch ‘Law and Order.’”
Owner Ruth Ryel will have dinner available for purchase, along with the coffee shop’s regular menu items.
