The story follows three people and their interweaving story lines.
Austin is a master when it comes to juggling timelines and crafting wonderful casts of characters.
“Waves of Mercy” tackles some very tough issues, such as why God allows believers to suffer hardships, the questioning of faith and surviving trials.
The settings of the novel are described vividly.
While this was the first novel by Austin that I have read, it won’t be the last.
I gave “Waves of Mercy” four out of five stars on Goodreads.
