William Newton Hospital in Winfield will be host to “Chip In for Children,” a golf tournament that will benefit CASA of Cowley County, on Aug. 12.

The golf tournament will start at 10 a.m. at the Winfield Country Club. Teams should plan on checking in at 9 a.m.

Team and hole sponsorships still are needed.

All players will receive a Rubbermaid six-pack cooler at registration.

The tourney will be a four-man scramble. There will be prizes for first, second and third place.

All proceeds will help CASA volunteers provide a voice for abused and neglected children involved in the court system in Cowley County. CASA stands for Court-Appointed Special Advocates.
